Inspection Test plan

An Inspection Test Plan (ITP) is a vital document outlining the inspection, material testing, and surveys for contractor submission and Engineer approval before site work begins. It's prepared in advance and includes a comprehensive checklist. The ITP, issued by the Quality Engineer, undergoes reviews by the Quality Manager and Construction Manager before final approval by the Project Manager. A register of ITPs, including checklists, is maintained by the QA/QC Engineer to ensure compliance with inspection criteria for each item.
